We have two film scanners here at our house and, in the arduous process of recovering all the cables and software needed for either one to work, I found that one is completely broken (sensor picks up no data) and the other one is so old it uses SCSI ports and all I have currently is two adapters that change it into serial configuration. So I need to get a serial to USB 2.0 before I can begin the process of digitizing my B&W film pictures. Even if I get the adapter there is a possibility that it just won't work or is way too old for my computer to recognize it.
